DIY: Mint Choc Chip Milkshake

Hi lovelies,

Summer has definitely started to hit on London, and about time too! Anyone will tell you that I am not a morning person in the slightest, so to wake up with the sun streaming through my window and bright clear blue skies are very welcome. Plus I've embraced on wearing no tights already - bonus!
With the sun comes the heat, and heat often equals dehydration especially when you are staying out all day, even if it's only in your back yard. So aside from slapping on the sun screen to protect yo' skin, you need to make sure you stay hydrated too, and what better way than making your own milkshake? Here's the recipe with pictures below -

All you need are four ingredients:
  • Blender
  • Your favourite flavour of ice cream (go mint choc chip!)
  • A large spoon
  • Some milk
1. Get your blender at the ready...
(This one is from Cookworks, similar can be found here)

2. Followed by your lovely ingredients and choice of ice cream flavour...

3. Get your big spoon and scoop out your ice cream into your blender...
(I'm Chinese so of course I'm going to use the rice spoon haha!)

4. Add your milk and then hit blend...

5. And there you have it! A refreshing glass of cold milkshake!

  • One thing I love about this is that it is super easy to make and takes next to no time to create
  • Be adventurous and try different flavour of ice creams
  • While you're at it, try different milk types - soya, full fat, almond milk, hazelnut milk...
  • Try making an Oreo one (vanilla ice cream + Oreo biscuits = chocolate goodness!)
  • Maybe add different chocolates into it - Malteasers, Ferrero Rocher and Kinder Bueno all work a treat
