Eiffel Bridge Girona Spain

Only a few hours north on the train from Barcelona and less than a hour train journey from Santa Susanna is the town of Girona, a quaint little place with rivers running through it separating the old Jewish town and the commercial newer part. With all them rivers, there's some bridges to go with it - 11 of them in fact, but I just want to talk about one in particular...
Known and marked on the map as Pont de les Peixateries Velles, this bridge is a metal mesh of red with a wooden floor. Aside from not looking your old style European-esque bridge, this one was built by one Gustave Eiffel - yup, the same guy who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris! Pretty incredible right?

Yes, it's still a bridge at the end of the day, but how often do you cross a bridge that was built by the same guy who built the Eiffel Tower? Worth crossing it for that alone I reckon.
