Beauty | Daily Make Up | Summer 2015 Look

Hello world, happy Tuesday!

I have realised from browsing through my previous posts that I've not done a daily make up post and thought it was about high time that I did. This make up look is my daily look when I put on what I call "my face" and takes me around 10-15 minutes to do. It's pretty simple and natural and I hope you like it.

[[BASE]]
L'Oreal Nude Magique BB cream in Medium Skin Tone
I normally switch my base from a foundation to a BB cream when summer hits for a number of reasons. My normal foundation is L'Oreal's Eau De Teint which I can't stop singing praises about, and it's not a thick foundation to begin with so it's not like I'm switching for a lighter base. A BB cream covers my imperfections easily and quickly and with the added bonus of SPF12 and five other properties including a dewy glow and 24hr hydration, it's one that I love love love.

Maybelline Instant Anti-Age The Eraser Eye in Nude
I have recently started using this product as my concealer and while it's doesn't provide a full coverage, it does the job. My tube is nowhere near running out but I think when it's time to restock it, I may go for a shade lighter to act as a highlighter instead. I've read that fellow bloggers have accidentally picked up a shade lighter and it's worked wonders so must give it a try!

Bourjois Healthy Balance Unifying Powder in 53 Beige Clair
Firstly, what on earth is unifying?! Someone please explain to me! I tend to use this after my BB cream and concealer to set things in place and avoid the afternoon slip

[[EYES]]
Contacts:
Well this is a pretty obvious change.. and not sure what else to say on this subject so I'll quickly move on!

Kiko Make Up Milano Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in 05 and 07
I recently picked up two shadow sticks from Kiko in their Oxford Street flagship store - number 05 (a dark brown and supposedly By Terry Misty Rock dupe) and 07 (a light golden champagne esque colour). These two blend really well together thanks to the creamy formula and the slight shimmer works amazing in the summer when the sun hits your face. Win.

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer in 26 Noir
For the last couple of months I've been trying out a brown eyeliner on the waterline and love the natural muted look. But I've been missing the dramatic and intense look the black colour gives so while black is not quite a summery look, it's one I've been wholeheartedly loving! I've got the brown version in my kit just in case I decide to go back to brown :)

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in 004 Black Brown
If there is only one thing you've noticed in my before photo above, its probably that my eyebrows are super faint. I have tried tinting them over and over again but it never seems to work or adhere to my barely there hairs. And if you can't fix them, you've gotta join them which means finding an eyebrow pencil. I love this pencil - it's so easy to use, super cheap and even has a brush on the end! Perfect x

Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara in Noir/Black
I picked this up when it was on offer and I do like it. However, my lashes are quite short and stumpy to begin with and always on the look for an amazing mascara. If you have any recommendations, please shout them out! I'm this close to buying a year's supply of falsies on eBay and I don't even know how to use them.

[[LIPS]]
Chanel Rouge Coco in 11 Legende
There is such a noticeable difference when you use a high end product than a drug store product! The glide, the pigment, the packaging. This is such a dream to use and needs no introduction really.

[[EVERYTHING ELSE]]
Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit
I'm new to the world of contour but after a quick tutorial from the Charlotte Tilbury counter with their Filmstar Bronze and Glow product, the concept of contouring is so much less scary than I thought. Now I can't finish a make up look without contouring!

Sleek Blusher in Rose Gold 926
I will not lie - I purely picked this up because I read somewhere this was a dupe for NARS Orgasm. Whether it is or not, I have no idea seeing as I don't own the NARS version but either way, I do like using this on my apples after contouring.

Woah. That was a corker of a post! I had a little inkling that maybe I should have done a video for this instead but silly old me decided to blog it out. Let me know if you do want a video of it, and I'll get cracking on and recording!
