Life | OOTD | Birthday Outfit

Wow, I haven't done an Outfit of the Day (OOTD) post in a while, and forgot to take a full length picture, but hey, ho, here we go!

Today's post is all about the outfit I wore when I was out in London for the day celebrating my birthday. It was a wet London day (sad times) so priority was all about comfort and staying dry, rather than looking stylish and fashionable! We ended up visiting Borough Market, British Museum of Food (London) and Clink Prison Museum so it was all about being casual :)

This shirt is from Primark that I picked up earlier this year. I love the checked pattern of it, and it's a longer than normal length shirt which is great for hiding my fat belly from all the food I ate!

I coloured my hair when I was out in New York recently, and the colour is now showing through really lovely. It was a salon in Chinatown out there I visited and I think the shade was called Vesuvian? I have no more highlights anymore, and just got a full colour of light brown - perfect for the autumn winter months

It's definitely boot season, and I am on the desperate hunt for some wellington boots (rain boots? gum boots?) but in the meanwhile, whatever shoes I have in my cupboard will have to suffice! For my birthday, I chose these boots from New Look I bought a few years ago. They're these amazing wedges that are super comfortable and can wear these all day long.

The jeans are also ones that I picked up in Primark. I think all my jeans - or at least 90% of them! - are actually from Primark/Primarni, and it's because I know exactly what size I am in there, they have so many different designs and are super affordable! Love love love their skinny jeans range and have so many different colours. This mottled grey style is super wearable and goes with a number of different outfits making it extremely versatile. Plus grey is so in these days!

Haha, this picture below is an attempt of my full length picture.. what a fail! I'm such a muppet sometimes haha! You can see my pink scarf - I think it's a pashmina that I just use as a scarf - and my Coach bag that I picked up in New York recently~
