Riding House Cafe | London

Nestled on the corner of a quiet street in London is the infamous Riding House Cafe. Less than 10 minutes walk away is the busy Oxford Street in central London, which we left behind in the middle of December to eat on a Thursday evening when one of my friends was visiting London for the festive period. I heard a lot about the breakfast, not so much about the dinner but with all the reviews of this place, it sounded like I was in for a treat.

Something festive to drink in the form of a cranberry fizz cocktail with Prosecco

Macaroni Cheese fritter with a leek, tomato and caper dressing

A side of poutine (chips, cheese curds, jalepenos and gravy)

Honey glazed duck breast, sweet potatoes, Agen prunes and cavolo nero

Bailey's white hot chocolate to sweeten things up

Sweet potato pie - yup you read that right - sweet potato! Apparently it's a huge thing in America similar to the likes of pumpkin pie. Doesn't quite have a sweet potato taste but really interesting to try!

Red velvet cake

Address: 43-51 Great Titchfield Street, London. W1W 7PQ
Phone: 020 7927 0840 (I recommend booking to avoid disappointment)
